Iris, what a fabulous idea for a blog! I’ll definitely be popping in from time to time to see all your latest wanders. Thanks so much for stopping by moi du toi photography and following. ♥
Iris, thanks for stopping by and following my blog. I find your a-photo-a-day very interesting and inspiring! I am so happy to get to know you. Now I have something to look forward to everyday! 😉
That is great… I love road trips too. I’m actually due for one, but It’ll have to wait a bit…
Hi Iris, Thanks for visiting and following Flying Goannas. I hope you enjoy our travels as much as we do. Cheers, Jenny.
Like you Iris, I love wandering off the beaten path to find shops, natures beauty, interstate highways are good for speed, bad for seeing all of natures rare and hidden gems that people used to see all the time. I love finding these places off the beaten path and I look forward to reading and seeing more of what your eyes see and discover off the beaten path! Though you are a world traveler, I find you miss so much in just a 100 mile radius of home.
I am so glad you found my blog and liked my posts and started following my blog. Thank You, I am now following your blog.
Thank you Mitchell, I am going to enjoy browsing/wandering through your blog, it looks very interesting. I like that you were Old Order Mennonite for quite a time, the Amish and Mennonite life has always intrigued me. Not the politics and religion as much as the plain and simple lifestyle. Nice to meet you. 🙂
Iris, it is so nice to meet you as well, it is amazing all the good people and blogs out there that I never see, even though I do look as time permits, I am always so happy when people like you come to visit my blog and I find you through finding me! 🙂 LOL Thanks again I am still on your blog right now and found Ceenphotography.com,, you find so many things through other peoples eyes as i have through yours. ! Have a great week Iris!
Hi Iris, thanks so much for stopping by my blog. Nice to meet a fellow military brat 🙂 Look forward to reading your posts!
Thank you for the follow. I enjoy your blog 🙂
Sounds much like my own story, love of traveling, photos and food!
I am enjoying your blog. Sometimes I make a reply but the little box that says “post comment” is not there, so it does not go through. Very odd.
I nominated you for Most Influential Blogger award. go here for details http://meredithlbl.com/2014/06/19/an-unexpected-honor/
Thank you Meredith 🙂
Comment: Hi Iris,
Amanda Lakey at http://hummingbirddreamsphotography.wordpress.com invited me to be part of a Virtual Blog Tour, which I agreed to and will be posting on Monday, June 30th. It is also my turn to extend an invitation to one or more people who’s work I’d like to introduce my readers/followers to. There are four questions to answer and you can also add your photos to the post. Here is a link to previous VBTs if you want to check it out before giving me an answer.

I look forward to hearing from you. If you agree you would post on the following Monday (July 7th)
Cee
It looks interesting, but I am not a writer. My sentences are usually short and there are not many of them. I will give this some thought. Thank you Cee.
I’m not a writer either. I was asked to do it for photography and I so adore your eye for photography and the personality you have. You were the first person of I thought of for this. I totally understand if you don’t want to participate, but I sure would appreciate if you did.
I have looked at the link you left for me, My hubby has a saying, “suck it up, buttercup” so I will do it. Thanks again for thinking of me. This will help me grow.
I’m thrilled 🙂
Thank you for following my blog! Great concept; looking forward to seeing where your lens takes ya! We are birds of the same feather – Army brat, entirely raised abroad, then ‘wife’ to a ODS/OIF soldier – so I’m not too good at staying still either. 32 states on my travel log, so you’re doing better than me 🙂
Hello Iris
I have nominated you for the Liebster Award 🙂
Hi Iris, Here is the link to The Virtual Blog hop. Thanks so much for your willingness to participate.

Thanks Cee 🙂
Thank you for visiting and following my blog. What an adventurous person you are! I’ve enjoyed checking out your posts and I look forward to reading more! 🙂
Hello Iris-
Forgive the delay in thanking you for following my blog. I was out wandering where we had no internet connections!! Delighted that you will peeking in on life here in the Northwest 🙂
Jane
Thanks for following ZimmerBitch; much appreciated 🙂
I love your goal – to visit all of the US states. It is nice to have the plan and follow it.
Hi there, Iris. Thans so much for following me. I have been following you for quite some time, and really enjoy your photos. 🙂 Sylvia
Hi Sylvia, I had been following you for several months. Imagine my surprise when I went to your blog this morning and saw that I was no longer following you.
WP does some very strange things, Iris. We have to keep an eye on them. 😦
Your photographs are so beautiful. Also, your sense of exploration and appreciation for beauty is wonderful. 🙂 Lovely blog.
First, thank you so much for visiting The Last Half, and for the Like on my post 🙂 .
Second, I’m glad it brought me to you. I Follow very few blogs–fewer than the fingers of two standardly-digited terran primate hands–because I am not a speed reader (my mind wanders off on tangents) and am a compulsive reader. There is just not enough time to read every post of every superb and talented blogger out there, and it frustrates the OCD in me.
But–have so enjoyed your photos this morning–did not stop to Like every one liked–and will enjoy travelling vicariously with you (have done two cross-country trips on my own 🙂 ). Plus, your blog has no reams of text (unlike my own blog, and unlike this comment…oh, dear).
Thus, am now another happy groupie in your camp.
I also want to visit all the US states but I’ve got nowhere near as many as you yet!
Hello Iris, I love the essence of your blog and your enthusiasm for life and adventure. Thank you for stopping by and I look forward to exploring with you 🙂
Thank you
Thank you for taking some time to stop by and follow my blog. Wishing you safe journeys and many more adventures!
Nice to have you following my blog. I’ll enjoy reading of your adventures I’m sure. 🙂
Thanks so much for the follow Iris. Welcome aboard Duniya Ku 🙂
Thank you for the follow. You have a lovely blog, and I look forward to seeing more of your posts.
Great blog! I love the idea of posting pictures from your day trips. I’m also an Air Force Brat!
I love your adventurer spirit Iris. It’s great to have met you.
Hi Iris,
I am really honoured that you visited my blog and liked it. I will keep in touch too. Thank you.
Hello Iris,

Hi Iris,
Of all the blogs I read regularly, yours is one of my favourites.
I know that not everyone is into blog awards, but I hope you won’t mind that, as a token of my appreciation, I’ve nominated yours for the One Lovely Blog Award: http://jaspasjourney.wordpress.com/2014/09/07/nominations-are-like-buses/
Thank you Jaspa.
You’re welcome, Iris.
Thanks for visit and comment in my blog. For your information, there actually near hundred of coffee beans variety in Indonesia while only seven or ten of those beans shipped and landed as cup of coffee in your local Starbuck in United States. Pity is it.
I think you understand as you ever lived in Ecuador and taste how superior those latin coffee. Mine favorite is Colombia coffee.
I agree, my favorite is Colombian also. Thank you for visiting my blog.
I know you have a lot of followers and you more than likely have been nominated more than once, but we nominated you for the One Lovely Blog award. You don’t have to make a post about it– but I wanted to let you know that we follow your blog and love it. 🙂

Thank you Dorian and family, and also thank you for following 🙂
We have enjoyed reading your blog since we found you shortly after starting our own blog. Love reading about your adventures. 🙂
Hi, I have nominated you for Liebster award. I know that you have risen above all this but I had to nominate few blogs worth visiting so how could I ignore one of my favorite one? It is entirely your wish to respond on my post. Regards, Soul. http://soulnspiritblog.com/2014/09/29/wow-here-comes-my-award/
Thank you Soul 🙂
Pleasure to meet you.
Good Morning Iris,
Thank you for the “Likes” and for following Renaissance Musings (RM). I fully understand “wandering” and day trips. RM Category “Bucket List” captures some of my wanderings, and if you scan my Home page, you will see that I have several Bucket List Items on the schedule. I look forward to “wandering” through your postings,
Merlin
Hello Merlin, nice to meet you.
Hello, Iris! Thanks for coming over. Any friend of M-R’s….
I’m looking forward to seeing the places you go but not looking forward to the inevitable envy this (for now) non-wandering wanderer will suffer. 🙂
Thanks for stopping by my blog, Iris! I look forward to reading about your wandering, and seeing more great photographs 🙂
Hello! I have to say, I’m not a great traveller but my husband is and he’s dragged me to a lot of places. I’ve travelled in the US a bit and loved all the places I’ve been. I think Death Valley was my favourite, but everywhere we went was beautiful and the people were really friendly.
I’ve been to quite a few places but Death Valley, not yet. It’s on my bucket list. Thanks for visiting and following my blog. I look forward to browsing through yours. 🙂
Thought you would like to know that I nominated you as part of the One Lovely Blog award! http://www.diagnosingwanderlust.com/lovelyblogaward/ Check it Out! Beautiful Blog!
hello Shannon, thank you so very much.
Iris, this is incredible! Two bloggers (not knowing one another) nominated you for the One Lovely Blog Award on 11/4, the same day. I just noticed this while making this comment to tell you. So I’m not expecting you to accept. If you’d like to view the post, it’s on my site under Awards on the menu. http://cerobinsonauthor.com. Thank you for following my blog. I really enjoy your posts and I’ll be back to read more!
Thank you C. E.
You are very welcome! (C.E. Christine Elizabeth)
Thanks for the visit and liking my blog. This theme is very bright and attractive.
Iris, I just wanted to thank you again, I cannot for the life of me get “Oyster Dressing” out of my mind or out of my taste buds now! Actually this week I am picking up a couple pints of West Coast Oysters and having ready for Thanksgiving day! Since i have to watch sugars, I am roasting two cornish hens and possibly a roasting hen (who knows possibly a turkey i have several in the deep freeze and am making Oyster Dressing for them all. LOL I am just happy to meet another person that loves it as much as I do! You are right most people turn up their noses, thats OK there is even more for me that way. 🙂
Hi Iris, thanks for visiting my blog. I look forward to exploring yours.
