Travel Find Thursday – Dallas County Museum – Buffalo Missouri

The Museum is part of the Buffalo Head Prairie Historical Park which is located on Highway 65 on the south end of Buffalo, Missouri. The park is home to the Dallas County Museum and the Jacobsen Research Library for genealogy research. 

The Eberhart Cabin built about 1861.

  3. Hi Iris, this reminds me of several of the Old Order Mennonite schoolhouses I have been in over the years. except for the piano. 🙂 and those schools all have pull down gas lights. Love the things you get out and photograph!
