Love them both! What was the Hootin an Hollarin all about? Some sort of music festival perhaps?

    1. I. Greenwald says:

Hootin an Hollarin is a chance for the town of Gainesville Missouri to preserve the traditions, crafts, and lore of the early days of the Ozarks. And yes there is a lot of music and dancing.

  2. That looks like a really old church. Does any Hootin and Hollarin go on in there? A bit of Bible thumping, too? 😉

    1. I. Greenwald says:

The church is from 1868 in Bel Air Maryland. It is Episcopal so I’m not sure how much hootin and hollarin goes on inside. 🙂

I laughed at the last picture. That door looks a lot like the one on the outhouse at our cabin we went to every summer when I was a kid 😀

  4. I love the stone church as well as the door. And I’m a fan of hootin’ and hollerin’. 🙂
