Sitting in my window with the afternoon sun shining on it

adds a touch of vibrant color on this 29th day of January.

Without sun it’s a beautiful shade of purple,

with sun it adds a touch of vibrant color to a normally drab winter’s day.

Same plant, east window, spring 2014.
