I found these beautiful windows in an alley overlooking the railroad tracks in the small town of Aurora, Missouri. They are much too pretty to be tucked away where almost nobody would see them.

I absolutely agree 🙂
Like a “secret garden” – yes? So wonderful that you found them!
🙂 Yes, I will wander just about anywhere.
Oh, I love these windows, too. I like the way you composed the photography.
Thank you
Love these windows with the ivy climbing up the walls.

I don’t understand what I’m looking at, Iris: they seem to have a security grid BEHIND the glass ! What d’you think that’s about …?
Not security, just decorative, plastic on the inside. Its popular around here. The reason for the photo is that they are facing an ally and train tracks behind the building. Where most people don’t go.
Oh, I love the windows per se; just couldn’t work out what you’ve now explained. 🙂
I would never guess they were in Missouri! Lovely captured at dusk?
just after sun up 🙂
Wonderful!
Spent some of my college years in Missouri and I think I’ve been there. What a painterly view with the ivy!

absolutely. Beautiful windows!!
TY 🙂
They certainly are beautiful! It’s unfortunate that we as people are often in such a hurry that we miss things like this. I see something new just about every time I walk around my own town that I missed all the times before.
They certainly are! Thanks for sharing them with us.
